Green Marbled Restaurant Experiences

The Elgin Cafe Boasts an Emerald Green Marble Interior

Studio Renesa designed the Elgin Cafe's new interior in Punjab, India. The restaurant, bar, and cafe evokes the feeling of al fresco dining with its use of emerald green marble. Situated on former dilapidated farmland, the Elgin Cafe acts as a bistro by day and a restaurant and wine bar by night.

Informed by the feel of the outdoors, the restaurant's interior utilizes maximalist designs. It celebrates emerald green marble found in Udaipur, making it the space's main focal point. Head architect Sanchit Arora explains that the team "focused on using indigenous materials, and this was an opportunity to use the evergreen Udaipur green granite." Complete with gold furnishings and tan leather seats, this restaurant curates a unique atmosphere.
