Communal Wine-Making Facilities

The Day Wines Building Was Made for Communal Art and Wine-Making

Fieldwork Design and Architecture group recently completed the Day Wines building in Dundee Or, United States.

In the heart of the Oregon Wine Country, this building is a converted former vitamin factory, transforming into a space to communally make and celebrate art, as well as a top-of-the-line wine-making facility and tasting room for Day Wines and 10 other brands. The architecture, design and landscaping were all inspired by the natural process of making wine, with a earthy color scheme and natural wood accents all over. The large windows allow guests to have vast views of the surrounding vineyard from the tasting room and museum areas.

The Day Wines building allows natural light to flow into each room, while still allowing the interior to flow out to the courtyard.
