Daniel Arsham Creates an Interactive Experience To Question Time

Designer Daniel Arsham recently put together an interactive and technicolor balloon exhibit called 'Circa 2345' for the Galerie Perrotin that explores themes of time and concepts of space. The show features a series of solid purple balloons that are bound together on the ceiling and walls to create an immersive experience that transports the viewer out of their familiar environment.

The 'Circa 2345' show is comprised of crystalline calcite material that is used to create sculptural pieces in color that entice the viewers senses through sight and touch. The material is constructed into different sized balls that are stacked together and surround the viewer entirely as they entire the exhibit. This is done purposefully, to surround the viewer physically in a habitat that is far from the norm to provoke them to think about how space and time effect them.Photo Credits: designboom, perrotin
