Tamagotchi has created a new Tamagotchi Friends toy that will bring back lots of memories for most of us. The company behind the 90s handheld virtual pet toy is recreating the favorite to be more friendly than ever before. The new device wants to be your e-best friend.
The new Tamagotchi Friends will ask you to feed him, potty train him and even bathe him so he can turn into a healthy adult. I know from personal experience that my Tamagotchi was neglected from time to time but I think I would be ready for more responsibility now that I am older. Tamagotchi previewed the product at the 2014 International American Toy fair and gave kids the opportunity to raise their very own virtual baby.
The coolest part about the Tamagotchi Friends are that by tapping one toy to another you can send virtual gifts or even text messages. That is pretty mind blowing if you ask me.
