3D Photo Apps

This App Allows Users to Take 3D Photos Using the Built-in Camera

William Wilkinson & Deepak Mantena designed a new app that allows users to take 3D photos with nothing more than the built-in camera. Although there is no shortage of photo-editing apps available to consumers, the majority perform the same basic functions. This app is unlike other photo-editing apps in that it helps users create multi-dimensional photos.

'Slide' is a image-editing app that allows users to take 3D photos. The app uses the phone's built-in camera, meaning no extra equipment is required. To take a photo, simply compose the shot and then move the device slowly across you body. If you tap the image, it will instantly appear in 3D. The process results in a GIF that loops consistently and can be shared on social media.

The app provides a simple way to impress your friends with photos that are truly unique.
