The T3-MT and T3-41 Moving Vehicle Systems Aid Filmmakers

The T3-MT and T3-41 moving vehicle systems were specially designed for filmmakers who struggle with nailing a perfectly smooth tracking shot.

Created by the green technology company T3 Motion, the idea for the vehicle came from an expansion on the original design, which was created for the police service.

Resembling a small scooter, the T3-41 model has a rear trailer type attachment that holds a sideways-facing seat for the camera man to sit on, and moves at a top speed of 12 mph. The T3-MT has a seat on the scooter behind the driver for the camera man to sit on, rather than an additional trailer.

They are outfitted to accommodate Steadicam and Glidecam camera systems and attach the camera to the vehicle itself to eliminate camera shake and camera man accidents. They also feature two 12 VDC batteries to power lights, cameras or monitors and an anti-glare, seven-inch, high-def monitor to play back footage.
