‘Sit Down' by Adam Scott

Adam Scott took a radical surfboard slant with his attitude-driven ‘Sit Down’ chair design.

"The aim of the piece was to provide a juxtaposition and a contradiction for the perceived usages of a product," says Scott. Seating is generally soft and comfy, and he has taken a hard-edge, slick approach to ‘Sit Down.’ The lack of comfort may be forgivable considering the chair's hot look.

The chair, shot here on a secluded beach, looks like a shark complete with fins and a slate gray color. These photos could easily be seen on the front cover of a surf magazine, inclusive of hot surfer guy.
