The Sunseeker Elite X7 Plus Gen 2 is a wire-free robotic lawn mower designed for large residential properties. The mower received a Gold Award at the German Innovation Awards organized by the German Design Council. It is designed to manage lawns up to 6,000 square metres and uses nRTK positioning, VSLAM 2.0 technology, binocular cameras, and iToF cameras for navigation and obstacle detection. The mower operates during both daytime and nighttime conditions and uses onboard mapping technology to create mowing routes without boundary wires.
The mower features dual 14-inch cutting discs, 8.7-inch all-terrain wheels, and a top-mounted LCD display that shows battery status, connectivity, and operating mode. Navigation and decision-making functions are powered by a 10 TOPS AI processor. The system is capable of detecting and avoiding more than 200 obstacle types while navigating complex lawn layouts and sloped terrain.
