Taiyo Matsumoto Presents Stunning Images

Taiyo Matsumoto presents another range of stunning comics with the series 'Sunny.'

The author of the cult classic and Eisner award-winning manga 'Tekkonkinkreet' returns with his new series, and it may just be his most ambitious, character-driven piece yet.

The story revolves around the inhabitants of Hoshinoko Children’s Home: a place for youth without capable parents to live. The story opens as a young boy named Sei joins the household, and seems to revolve around his interaction with two other boys his age: Junsuke and Haruo. However, with each passing chapter, a different inhabitant of Hoshinoko becomes the primary focus. With an entire household of characters to work with, Taiyo Matsumoto has taken on his most ambitious-sized cast, and is already showing signs of very elaborate characterization for each.
