As part of a suicide prevention initiative, French architect Aurelie Monet Kasisi built a mobile lemonade stand. Commissioned by Swiss organization Stop Suicide, the tropical food cart was inspired by African, Asian and South American street stalls. The multifunctional unit can be easily moved to public spaces, where it will be a part of suicide prevention initiatives and campaigns across Switzerland.
The simple structure is made out of recycled materials, including an old sail as a canopy. It has lots of storage space in the form of drawers and cabinets, plus places for a cooler and projector, to better disseminate information and raise awareness. The "micro-social platform" is a wheelbarrow-like lemonade stand and cinema screening center all in one. It is ideal for holding workshops and important discussions.
