Transparent Diamond-Shaped Structures

Villa Kavel 1 by 'Studioninedots' Exudes Luxury

Studioninedots is an architecture firm based in Holland, and the team recently completed the Villa Kavel 1 situated just outside of Amsterdam. The building takes on a sharp diamond shape with plenty of glass windows to ensure constant views outside.

In fact, most of the front facade is made from glass, which brings into question how much privacy can be achieved in the structure (but at least it looks good)! The building is actually situated on an island, where further development is scheduled for completion. A tennis court and villas will be added to the area in the upcoming year or two, and the house also looks out onto a lake and park area. Overall, Studioninedots have designed a spectacular house in a superb location.
