Studio Lacaja Arquitectos' Leroteca Design is a Cultural Kids Space

Leroteca is a cultural center for kids that has been designed by Studio Lacaja Arquitectos. The sci-fi themed structure is part of is part of "Lero Lero", a kidergarten that is located in the heart of Cundinamarca, Columbia.

This monumental building by Studio Lacaja Arquitectos features a massive concrete shell, wood paneled wall accents and an angular rooftop that is dramatically sloped.

While Leroteca's exterior is industrial and sharp in it's appearance, its interior space is more kid-friendly and warm in its aesthetic. The open-concept interior is home to activity, art and reading areas that are spacious and imaginative. The areas are adorned with clean and neutral finishes that are a perfect backdrop for students' vibrant art works and finished craft projects.
