The extinguisher works by incorporating a conical aesthetic that is worn over the shoulder and allows for a more stabilized usage experience. This will enable users to maintain better control over the extinguisher as they use it to tame flames that have broken out.
The 'Strap Extinguisher' is the design work of Youngtae Cha, Chanbin Park, Seokyeong Lee and Yeahee Ku, and is the winner of the K-Design Award for 2017. The extinguisher is intended to be kept readily available within a space rather than tucked into a storage box to ensure it's always available.
