The 'Stoke' Cooking Appliance Draws Inspiration from Charcoal Grills

The 'Stoke' cooking appliance is an outdoor cooker-inspired indoor grill that highlights a communal aesthetic to help bring a sense of community to the simple act of having friends and/or family over for dinner.

The cooker makes use of charcoal modules that can be shifted around using a poker, which mimics the experience of working with a conventional grill in an outdoor space. This will allow chefs to disperse heat throughout the unit as they require when cooking recipes inside and on top.

The 'Stoke' cooking appliance is the design work of DongJae Koo with the help of JaYoung Koo, SeongGu, and JaeSoen Lee. The unit brings an unexpected kind of experience to the process of indoor cooking to highlight old-fashioned processes.
