Intricately Illustrated Bikes

This Starley Bicycle is Covered in Surreal Drawings by Ugo Gattoni

French artist Ugo Gattoni created an intricately designed bicycle at the request of British bike retailer Starley. The sleek bike is covered with beautiful and elaborate drawings. Gattoni used black permanent markers to cover the bike in a series of small drawings. Every inch of the white frame is covered in elegant nonsensical illustrations. The artist didn't have a theme in mind when he drew on the bike so he included things such as palm trees, tigers and round-headed creatures.

Starley commissioned Gattoni to create the bike in order to promote its frame design service. The bike will be auctioned off as a limited edition piece to raise money for charity. The bicycle retailer plans to hold an auction this September to sell the beautiful bike.
