Fellow's Stagg EKG Kettle Combines Minimal Design with Maximal Function

The Stagg EKG kettle, designed by San Francisco start-up Fellow, has a design that belies its impressive functionality. Though the kettle looks like any other (albeit with an attractive, minimalist design,) it actually offers something that few other kettles can boast: connectivity.

Rather than being for heating up water alone, the Stagg EKG kettle was created specifically to brew ideal coffee. The electric device connects to an app called Brewbar, and this app allows users to remotely control the temperature based on the type of coffee they're making. It can also maintain the water's temperature for up to 30 minutes. This allows users to set the kettle remotely through their app and have it still be at the ideal temperature when they're ready to pour it out.

The Stagg EKG isn't Fellow's first coffee product. The company successfully funded a steeper in 2013.
