One of the cars I’m pumped to see images of at the 2009 New York Auto Show is the Spyker C8 Aileron. This aviation-inspired automobile takes a number of design cues from the airborne world, including turbine engine-shaped side air scoops and turbine-styled interior air vents.
Attendees of the 2009 New York Auto Show will also have noticed something different in the Spyker C8 Aileron—an amped-up engine. It’s packed with a 4.2-liter V8 that delivers 400 horsepower and 354 pounds per foot of torque.
