Pen-Like Acne Treatments

Glossier's 'Zit Stick' is an On-the-Go Spot Treatment for Acne

Glossier will soon be launching a spot treatment for acne that takes the form of a pen that dispenses a translucent formula that can be rolled over or applied under one's makeup.

The new product is described as a "breakout eraser" that is packed with naturally antibacterial tea tree oil, soothing cucumber extract and benzoyl peroxide. The product is clickable, so that the desired amount of product can be dispensed via the cooling, antimicrobial steel rollerball.

As Melissa Souto, Glossier's director of product marketing and development, describes "We started to think about how treating zits tends to be a private affair—something you wait to deal with until you can apply that thick, visible spot treatment at home." The innovative Zit Stick is a portable solution that can be used quickly, anywhere for an on-the-go, as-needed treatment.
