The 'Sports Cheese' Drawings Turn Sports Brands into Cheese

Inspired by cheesy sports brands, illustrator Chris Write set out to create 'Sports Cheese' where sports brands are turned into their cheese-based equivalents. The collection of drawings combines puns and cheesified logos for a humorous effect.

Each brand had its logo reappropriated and turned into cheese. In addition, brand names were also altered with names of cheese. A Parmesan Puma became Pumasan and Nike Air Max became Nike Gruyere Max. Write worked with a large range of sports brands and cheeses. From fondue to cream cheese, many different forms and types of cheese were used.

In some cases, Write didn't have to alter the brand name at all. Brands like K-Swiss already have the potential to be cheese without a name change.
