This Spiraling Observation Tower Offers 360-Degree Views

Architecture studio EFFEKT has released plans for a spiralling observation tower, which overlooks a forested area of Haslev, Denmark. The treetop walkway is set to be 600 meters long and will provide a unique 360-degree view. The observation tour starts at ground level, opening up to an hourglass shape, which then flattens through the forest canopy. The 45-meter tall tower is shielded by a layer of corten steel, providing support and security while maintaining the natural aesthetic of the structure.

The structure's continuous, elevated ramp will allow for people to explore new heights, meters above the treetops. With a design that includes bleacher seating and resting points, looping pathways, bridges and an an aviary, this architectural experience promises to provide people with an immersive and interactive method to connect with nature.
