This Solar-Powered Macbook Could Change the Portable Computer Game Forever

A solar-powered laptop would solve arguably the biggest issue with portable computers since limited storage, viruses or battery life. Apple always stays ahead of the game and with its newest solar initiative we could see a solar powered Macbook on the horizon.

Apple got the patent for a dual-screen solar-powered Macbook cleared by the US patent office so that means that it's only a matter of time until they are designed. The solar-powered laptop would feature the regular ultra-vibrant Macbook screen on the front but the back would be able to house photovoltaic cells, the cells used for solar charging.

The laptops won't only be functional they'll also be stylish as Apple is known to do and the back screen could feature electrochromic glass, a glass that can be set to transparency.
