I always thought that electric cars were a thing the Jetsons came up with. Seriously, I never expected them to really make it. Evidently in New York City they are, as that city just got its first solar powered electric car charger.
I am kind of excited for this, as this charging station would be drawing on a completely renewable and sustainable source: the sun. With one already in operation in San Francisco, New York's solar powered electric car charger is certainly something to covet.
