Alien Growth Art

The SOFTlab (n)arcissus Installation was Created for Node 10

At first glance, the ever reflecting SOFTlab (n)arcissus installation looks like some odd, alien growth formation of some sort. In reality, it is completely man-made out of over 1000 laser cut panels of mylar and vinyl.

Created for Node 10, the SOFTlab (n)arcissus installation is currently hanging in the stairwell of the Frankfurter Kunstverein Art Center in Germany. Nevertheless, to first-time visitors, it is not clear that it is actually 9 feet tall.
