The tabletop and legs of the Snake Side Table are made from a single piece of material. Outside-of-the-box designer Alessandro di Prisco achieved this by sculpting the object with rigid rectilinear pleats that fold and double back at right angles.
Presumably made from metal, the furnishing has been formed so that it features a pair of deep slots and three slim horizontal surfaces for placing objects on top. The slits are closed on the bottom and two sides, making ideal places to stash magazines, newspapers and books. You can slide more reading materials into the closed middle section as well.
Despite the fragmented nature of the Snake Side Table's tabletop, it effectively holds large flat items across its separate segments or smaller things on each individually. For increased convenience, the piece has an integrated table lamp and four holes for hanging items.
