Scanning these QR codes on the snack bar packaging reveals information on the individual batch tests for allergens and gluten, giving consumers with sensitivities more peace of mind when it comes to on-the-go snacking.
Rather than just placing the QR codes anywhere on the wrappers, Zego took care to integrate them seamlessly into the design of each snack wrapper package. On this design choice, Colleen Kavanagh, co-founder of Zego, says: "It was a metaphor for how the transparency is integrated into our company."
