Turbo-Charged Smart Scooters

This Speedy E-Bike Can Reach Speeds of Up to 40 Miles Per Hour

Toronto-based e-bike manufacturer Daymak has created the latest in its line of innovative smart scooters with the electric-powered Chameleon.

The company boasts that the Chameleon, with its combination electric 500 watt brushless motor and foot pedals, can technically be driven without either insurance or a license, yet can still reach speeds of 40 miler per hour. The default battery pack can also travel 37 miles on a single charge, and can be upgraded to reach 75 miles with the option of using the pedals if it does eventually run out of juice.

These smart scooters can also be connected to your mobile device, and a companion app can be used to adjust various setting options to help optimize the bike's performance in different scenarios. There is even an optional turbo mode that will maximize torque power if you feel like popping a couple of sweet wheelies.
