The device features a caterpillar-like folding mechanism that unfolds to reveal a seven-inch screen that has a distinct slim profile. Users can thus open the device only as much as they require for specific tasks; opening it partially is perfect for music player controls or checking notifications, while opening the unit up all the way is perfect for widescreen multitasking.
The conceptual 'slide-phone' has been designed by nendo for OPPO and was shown off at the fourth China International Industrial Design Expo (CIIDE) as part of the theme "New Designs, New Trends, New Momentum."
