Using Your Phone in Bed Can Effect Your Sleep Patterns

According to this infographic by WHO, using electronics right before bed or, even worse, sleeping with them, can severely effect your sleeping patterns.

Do you sit in bed texting or browse your favorite sites right before turning out the lights? Most of us do, which is why this infographic is so interesting.

First of all, 75% of the US population is connected to the Internet in a mobile manner. If the population is around 300 million people, that means hundreds of millions of people have the capacity to ruin their own sleeping patterns.

Ninety percent of 18-29 year olds say they sleep with their phone in their bed or right beside it. And one in two people say they check their phone right away if they wake up in the middle of the night for no reason.
