The Skittles Super Bowl Ad is Unfolding as a One-Time Broadway Performance

For the Super Bowl this year, Skittles will be creating a 60-second advertisement—but the Skittles Super Bowl ad won't be airing during the Big Game. For the first time ever, Skittles will be introducing the "first-ever commercial performed as a live Broadway musical."

'Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical, ' was written by playwright and Pulitzer finalist Will Eno in partnership with DDB Worldwide, and will be performed before a live audience a day before the Super Bowl at The Town Hall in New York City.

Tickets for Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical are currently being sold through Ticketmaster, with proceeds going to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. At the event—which will only be performed one time—guests will be treated to original songs and a live band.
