Aurelién Barbry Designs the Skagerak Plank Furniture Additions

French designer Aurelién Barbry designs the new Plank Table and Plank Chair to add to the Skagerak Plank Bench design that launched in 2018.

The new additions are made for outdoor spaces and plan to launch sometime early next year. Speaking about the new looks, Barbry states that "The Plank Bench is the result of an idea to challenge the function of the ubiquitous seating design, and an investigation into how I could design this piece of furniture differently. I wanted to use a minimum of materials and create something airy, playful, modern, and easy to build [...] The new table and chair use the same design language, and together with the bench, offer a complete outdoor furniture set-up."
