The Odette restaurant is the recently unveiled eatery inside the Singapore National Art Gallery. A ten-year-long project that recently reached completion, the Singapore National Art Gallery sits within the now-converted buildings that formerly housed Singapore's Supreme Court and city hall. Odette is named for the grandmother of the eatery's head chef, Julien Royer.
The brightly lit space that is Odette feels airy and light thanks to an entirely pastel color palette that makes deliberate reference to the Classical architecture of the Colonial Era. Designed by Universal Design Studios, the dining room also features faceted columns and elements inspired by the gallery's Palladiana marble floor.
