The SimuLife Game Places Players in a Real World Entertaining Story

At SXSW 2018 members of the press were invited to participate in the SimuLife game. The unique experience was developed by the Austin-based think tank Interactive Deep Dive in collaboration with the immersive studio Meow Wold, and encourages players to avid websites and screens. Instead, the SimuLife game encourages participants to interact and participate with the story and characters as part of their daily life.

The SimuLife game gives participants the ability to experience a fictional story within their daily lives. Games can last up to several days, can take place in real world locations and are centered around one or more participants. The games are supported b a full case and crew, and are captured on hidden cameras. Taking inspiration from films like The Game, The Truman Show, or The Man Who Knew Too Little, the SimuLife experience serves as an experimental training tool for individuals in high-consequence positions or as an incredibly innovative immersive entertainment experience.
