Portland-based photographer Carli Davidson has compiled this humorous collection of shaking cats caught in the middle of the act.
Using a high speed camera, Davidson was able to catch a mixture of fur and water flying off of each of her feline portraits. The humorous picture series features internet celebrity cat 'Lil Bub,' as well as a number of different rescue cats in silly poses as they shake back and forth. Davidson was able to capture each cat mid-shake by either petting them with a wet hand, or using a routine ear cleaning solution treatment applied by an animal care professional .
The collection was captured for the upcoming book 'Shake Cats,' and the photos of each rescue cat were also used to help them recruit a new owner.
