The Conceptual 'Sequel' Seat Keeps Guests Apart in Theaters

The post-COVID world is likely to look much different than how it used to with many initiatives implemented to help prevent the spread of virus, so designers are creating new solutions with this in mind like the conceptual 'Sequel' seat. Designed by Benjamin Hubert of London-based LAYER Design, the theater seat features a modular design that is paired with partitions that can be positioned up to keep guests separate from another. Storage chambers for personal items with UV-C lamps help to keep things sterilized before and after use to ensure cleanliness between guests.

The conceptual 'Sequel' seat is also covered with an antimicrobial fabric that features copper strands woven into it, while also being stain-repellent and hydrophobic to boot for easier cleaning.
