Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sundays Mark World Autism Month

Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sundays are being run by the restaurant chain in celebration of World Autism Month this April to offer families a way to enjoy a fun experience that won't overstimulate. The event will take place on April 27, 2025 at participating locations across the US and Canada where customers will find the environment with dimming lighting as well as lower volume levels. This will make the space more suited for children with sensory sensitivities who might not otherwise be able to visit during regular business hours.

CEC Entertainment President and CEO David McKillips commented on the Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sundays event and World Autism Month saying, "During World Autism Month and throughout the entire year, Chuck E. Cheese is dedicated to leading the family entertainment industry with our commitment to promote awareness among our guests and employees and through our partnership with Autism Speaks. This year, we are extending our advocacy work even further with Shine Global, allowing us to provide a platform and opportunity for voices like Austin’s to be heard by millions of guests visiting our fun centers."
