Glass-Accented Rooftop Pools

Architrend Architecture Boasts a See-Through Pool in St. Julian

Architrend Architecture is a Sicilian practice that accents a bold concrete house in Malta with a see-through pool. Located in St. Julian, the building is subject to dominant geometrical form. While the concrete adds a certain brutalist character to the aesthetic, the portion with the glass facade surely adds a softer contemporary feel. The crown jewel of this project, however, seems to be a see-through pool that can be observed from both inside the home and outside of it. Without a doubt, this feature rises a certain beauty in its voyeurism. People on the street can observe the side of the swimming feature, while residents and guests of 'Casa B' can survey the bottom.
