Dutch-based shipbuilding company Damen is no stranger to luxury yachts but the recent construction of its SeaXplorer77 ship may just be one of the most ambitious builds ever attempted. Commissioned by an unnamed client, this luxury yacht was purpose-built to be the premier vessel for surfing, diving and heliskiing adventures in remote areas. To reach these remote areas and plethora of adventures the SeaXplorer77 ship comes equipped with two helideck, two hangers and two helicopters to fill each of those spaces.
Other features of the SeaXplorer 77 include a dive and submersible center, a separate ski room with avalanche safety gear, Jet Skis and snowmobiles. The hull of the ship is a reinforced ice class hull and is meant to operate at freezing high latitude areas. The vessel will have a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and can house 12 guests as well as a crew of 25.
