Minimal Sculptural Furniture Collections

Cecilia Xinyu Zhang's Line Builds on Abstract Forms

Cecilia Xinyu Zhang graduated from the Academy of Design and Crafts in Sweden and one of her debuts as an established designer is a rich sculptural furniture collection. Her new studio is based in Bergen, Norway and the current offerings include an angular red table, a beautifully curved wooden chair, an abstract lighting piece and more.

Studio Cecilia Xinyu Zhang's sculptural furniture collection carries a minimalist aesthetic that successfully ties into the understanding of a contemporary home interior. In particular, the Equant Suspension Lamp offers a curious twist to the space it is installed in. The lighting fixture is LED-dependent and boasts an "adjustable circular deflector [...], a black metal disc that holds the deflector in place" and a strong circular silhouette that unifies everything.
