The Design Firm Blends Form & Function for Satish Nayak Residence in Bangalore

It isn't often that a modern design can blend a futuristic aesthetic with culture, form and function, but this Satish Nayak residence by The Design Firm does so in spades. This 2009 project is located in Bangalore, where The Design Firm sought to create a duplex that made the most of the area's abundant natural light and preserved the residence's dual-home function.

The 2,200 square foot plot is divided into two separate spaces, and its east-facing facade allows for solar heating, solar shading, and abundant natural ventilation throughout the year. Check out more images of the Satish Nayak residence by The Design Firm above.
