The Selecta 'Safety Stations' are Being Set Up Across Europe

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is no longer just for healthcare workers in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic as consumers seek to curb the spread of the virus, so vending machines called 'Safety Stations' are being set up to offer the essential gear. The vending machine initiative is the work of Selecta and is seeing deployment in Zurich Airport and the Brussels train station to start in order to keep travelers supported when they leave the house. The vending machines will feature face masks and hand sanitizer, and the brand has announced that it has added these items along with disinfectant wipes to its existing machines across Belgium, Austria, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Managing Director of Selecta Belgium Tim Goossens spoke on the new 'Safety Stations' saying, "As our economy is slowly restarting, it is important to us that we’re able to respond our customers’ changing needs, and these products and services enable us to do that. The Safety Station is a great example, allowing consumers to access necessary equipment 24/7 in an easy and safe way. We are delighted to be able to support our clients and partners this way during these challenging times."
