Honeycomb Shelves

The Ruche Shelving Unit is Inspired By Beehives

Ruche is the French word for beehive, and it's also the name of a beautiful shelving unit that is suitable for both home and office use. It is the work of Israeli industrial designer Ruthy Shafrir.

The shelving unit is shipped as a pile of cardboard or aluminum sheets, with the pieces needing to be slotted together to form an array of triangular and hexagonal shelves. The assembly takes about 5 minutes and doesn't require any special tools.

The honeycomb-style structure of the Ruche shelf means it is extremely versatile and can be used for holding anything for toilet rolls in the bathroom to shoes by your front door to drinks in your home bar.
