Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition Celebrates the New Union

Chivas Brothers' Royal Salute has decided to celebrate the 2018 Royal Wedding with the release of its Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition. This unique expression will be a limited-edition release from the brand, with just 70 bottles being created. The Scotch is the first blend to come from Royal Salute and has been fully matured in American Oak Casks, a tribute to the American bride. The expression features a blend of malt whiskeys aged 55, 36 and 33 years old, with the latter two years corresponding to the ages of the newest Royal couple.

While the Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition whiskey is quite impressive in its own right, the luxury nature of the spirit comes mostly from the packaging of the expression. The whiskey comes bottled in an individually numbered Dartington crystal decanter, embellished with roses, thistles, barley, daffodils and California poppies. The decanter itself comes presented in a handcrafted American oak box, which also features a floral interior. These packaging elements perfectly celebrate the wedding and gives Royal Salute Royal Wedding Edition a price tag of $10,000.
