Modern Biblical Fashion Paradise

Romance Was Born's Garden of Eden

Romance Was Born, an Australian fashion house, has released a stunning, biblical-inspired campaign called the Garden of Eden. The dramatically funky, eccentric label is designed by Luke Sales and Anna Plunkett and is sure to dazzle, particularly with this fascinating, artistic set up.

"They invent tall tales through elaborately-designed garments while spinning adventurous ranges and seasonal collections from a web of whimsical yarns," Dexigner explains.

As part of the 2008 L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the Sydney-based designers joined with Del Kathryn Barton, another Australian artist. They will be showing their Fall and Winter 2008 collections in the exhibit which can be seen at the ShowBox Gallery at the National Design Centre until April 27.

"Filling the ShowBox with giant Garden of Eden-inspired objects, Romance Was Born will transform the gallery into a quirky and modern interpretation of the biblical paradise; a place where art inspires fashion," according to Dexigner.
