The Ribena Coloring Cafe Lets Patrons Color the Walls Themselves

Buoyed by the surging popularity of adult coloring books, the Ribena Coloring Cafe is a pop-up juice shop (sponsored by the British juice company) that's devoted entirely to grown ups drawing. But rather than just providing those who stopped in with a coloring book, the Ribena Coloring Cafe crosses a childhood taboo, letting its guest color on the walls.

Upon entering the Coloring Cafe, patrons were invited to take a black and white tile and as many felt-tipped markers as they could handle. With plentiful Ribena juice on hand, those patrons could then spend some leisure time coloring in that tile. At the end of the cafe's run, Ribena put all those tiles on the wall to display a raucously colorful mural. For an added bit of flair, the markers had responsive elements that could be controlled through electric currents in the wall.
