With its double helical shape, this DNA-inspired 'Ribbons of Life' lamp channels the genetic components' structure. Aside from its intricate design however, this light is particularly impressive because it was fashioned via a 3D printer.
Designed by Paul Charlwood and Luca Abat of Charlwood Design, the 'Ribbons of Life' lamp is made out of a type of ABS plastic. Through the interesting use of material and its intricately molded shape, the lighting is beautifully eye-catching. Casting a delicate shadow, its amber-hued light is utterly romantic.
