Horned Wildlife Seating

The Rhino Chair is Part Faux Taxidermy and Part Opulent Luxury

This Rhino Chair looks like a prop straight out of Jumanji and I couldn't be more jealous of its owners. Designed by Maximo Riera, the three-legged chair is divided in half for luxury seating on one side and sheer rhino badassery on the other.

In addition to the Rhino Chair, Maximo Riera also previously designed the Octopus Chair, which also had uncanny, life-like similarity to its wildlife counterpart. I'm extremely impressed with the detailing put into the faux rhino taxidermy, and using the beast's mouth as the third peg of the chair is actually quite ingenious.

Implications - Consumers are gravitating towards products with wildlife motifs because they want to reconnect with nature. Many first world consumers have become overwhelmed by technological progress and feel that nature will provide them with a sense of solace. As such, corporations that integrate nature-themed motifs into their wares are more likely to garner consumer business in comparison to products that don't.
