Refurbished Reservoir Abodes

This Renovated Water Tower is a Beach-Dwellers Dream

Amidst the sandy beaches of California lies a renovated water tower, which on the surface, looks like nothing exceptional.

However, upon closer inspection, the water tower does not house water but is rather a place of residence. The 100-year-old, 9-storey-tall water tower was about to be torn down before architects decided to take it upon themselves to create a beautiful, livable home. After a long and arduous process, some of the incredible highlights of the 3000 sq ft. home included a commercial elevator, moving walls and two jacuzzis. Not to mention, the home is so high up that it offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and the Catalina Island.

Here's hoping that instead of tearing down old, abandoned towers, many choose to create a renovated water tower instead.
