The Redhead Alterations project was completed in Australia, and Bourne Blue Architecture, the team responsible for the design, aimed to make the place both chic and eco-friendly.
To make the space as safe for the environment as possible, the firm put together a contraption that catches rainwater on the roof, which is then filtered and re-used inside the house. While it may sound slightly unsanitary for some, the system is perfectly safe and helps to conserve the water consumption of the residence. Other energy-saving initiatives were put in place for the house too. For making the house look good, Bourne Blue Architecture used a very open concept at the ground level that makes up the living room and dining area, which both open up to the garden area at the back.
