Recycled Car Furniture

Hood Coffee Tables

Joel Hester handcrafts these amazing coffee tables in his Texas studio using hoods and trunks from vintage American cars.

Using the colorful, rusted sheet metal with unique patterns created by oxidation means that no two tables are ever the same.

New steel tubing creates the chassis and at the base of each leg is an adjustable foot that will adapt to any uneven hard surface floor to prevent the table from wobbling.

Tables start at $850, and Hester also makes bed frames, desks, end tables, plasma TV tables with component shelves, and other furniture to meet all your industrial chic needs.
