Suntory Spirits is Launching a 100% Recycled Aluminum Can

Suntory Spirits is introducing a new 100% recycled aluminum can in a bid to help reduce its reliance on virgin materials and reduce the amount of CO2 created as a result. The packaging was developed jointly by the UACJ Corporation and Toyo Seiko Group Holdings, Ltd. and will be used by the Suntory Group's The Premium Malt limited edition products in Japan. The can is reported to produce 60% less CO2 than a virgin aluminum alternative, which will give it an eco-friendly edge over the competition.

The Suntory Group 100% recycled aluminum can comes as part of the global brand's commitment to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 across its entire value chain. The can's recycled nature and benefits are communicated to the consumer right on the label.
